Thank you for signing up to follow The Luckiest Kids In The Whole World! (if you forgot what this is about, read our intro post here) You're among the very very first subscribers (there's about 100 of you!) and we're very happy to have you with us.
Today's mini-photoessay is an introduction of sorts: these are pictures from the early days of our relationship, from our first few trips together. We were just starting to discover each other (a still ongoing process!), to learn to take life's lemons and squeeze them into lemonade, and to nurture our relationship. In the film Her — one of Tingyi's favourites — Samatha says: "...the heart is not like a box that gets filled up; it expands in size the more you love," and this is exactly what we found out in those early days.
A little bit of housekeeping: we will be sending these emails weekly, every Sunday. Each will contain a selection of pictures curated by one of us, and possibly some extra goodies (see below for today's!). If you have any feedback or comments, please don't hesitate to leave a comment on the project's website, or reply to this email to write to us directly. We read each email and will absolutely get back to you!
If you enjoyed this episode, we'd be very happy if you forwarded this email to a friend, or shared the link to our project (http://luckiest.email) around you.

Bonus: G’s music recommendation
This week's music recommendation is re:member by Ólafur Arnalds. We're both fans of his, and one of our very first dates was going to see him play at the Royal Albert Hall here in London. We bought the record shortly after!
